- Gallagher Centre: Home to the Farrell Agencies Arena, water park and pool, flexihall, curling rink, many meeting facilities and the Agripavilion and Agarena. - Gloria Hayden Community Centre: The centre is a favourite recreation spot for Yorkton citizens. The Kinsmen Walking Track is a 140m rubberized indoor track that is convenient and removed from the elements for walkers and joggers. The centre also features two racquet courts that can be converted for racquetball, squash, handball, wallyball and aerobics. The gymnasium provides many leisure programs. (306) 786-1776

- Gladstone Driving Range and Mini Golf: Located one mile south on the York Lake Road. Enjoy a 300 yard driving range and 18 holes of miniature golf. (306) 782-7714
- Cherrydale Golf and Country Club: Located four miles east of Yorkton on Highway 10, two miles south on Cherrydale Road, then a half mile east. A par 3 nine-hole golf course, campground, showers, fire pit, ball diamond, horse shoes, driving range, nature trails, beach volleyball and in-house catering for family and corporate events. - Geocaching: Pick up loaner GPS devices from Tourism Yorkton free of charge. One piece of valid ID must be presented before the GPS devices are lent out. (306) 783-8707
Active Parks
- BMX Park, East of Columbia School, 119 Bradbrooke Drive. A BMX bike course.
- Crossthwaite Park, Mountview Road. A large field park suitable for lacrosse, soccer or football.
- Heritage Heights Park, McBurney Drive. This park includes two tennis courts and an outdoor rink with lighting until 10:00 pm during respective seasons, a ball diamond with backstop, a soccer field and walking pathways.
- Knights of Columbus Park, Circlebrooke Drive. This park has lighting throughout, permanent benches and walking paths, an activity hill and tennis courts that are lit until 10:00 pm throughout the summer, playground equipment and a ball diamond with a backstop.
- Patrick Park, King Street. This park has horseshoe pits in addition to picnic tables and benches. This is a great place to play some Frisbee, disc golf or kick a football around.
- Rodney Ridge, Roslyn Avenue. This park has a bowl type landscape, perfect for tobogganing and snowboarding.

- Silver Heights Water Park and Playground, Sunset Drive North. This active space is home to an outdoor rink, playground equipment, a tennis/basketball surface, spray park and walking pathways with benches. Spray park months of operation (weather permitting) is early June until mid September.
- Ukrainian Pioneer Park, First Avenue North. This park offers walking pathways, playground equipment and a large soccer/lacrosse playing field. This park is also home to the Yorkton Horseshoe Club.
- Western Financial Group City Centre Park, Downtown Yorkton. The park features benches and a stage for entertainment for small community gatherings. The mural located on the east end of the park was designed and painted by Grant McLaughlin.
- Weinmaster Spray Park, Morrison Drive. This spray park is fully automated with timers installed to prevent use outside of daytime hours. Typically, the spray park will be operational from mid-morning through early to mid-evening through the summer months. Lights are not provided at the spray park.
The City of Yorkton has a number of passive parks throughout the community. These park spaces do not have any playground or sports equipment and are designed to enhance the community through the beauty of green space. Some of the highlights at our passive parks include walking paths at Logan Green, Shaw Park and Franco Park, an arboretum/Dulmage Farmstead Heritage Site at the Ravine Ecological Preserve, a mature American elm stand at Tupper Park and the botanical garden located at Logan Green. If you’re looking for a location for a quiet relaxing escape, any of our passive parks is the place for you.
- Logan Green: This natural setting park space is home to 8kms of trail that is accessible year round for wildlife watching, hiking, cycling and cross country skiing.
- Ravine Ecological Preserve: west of the Gallagher Centre: Experience the beauty of nature by hiking the 2.8kms of natural trails.
Soccer Pitches
- Crosswaithe Field, Mountview Road. Four pitches suitable for soccer, lacrosse and football.
- Drake Field, Third Avenue North. Soccer pitch located within Ukrainian Pioneer Park.
- Gladstone Avenue South: A number of soccer fields.
- Heritage Heights Park, McBurney Drive. One soccer pitch.
- Waterloo Field, Waterloo Park on Waterloo Drive. One soccer pitch.
Ball Diamonds
- Jaycee Beach Diamonds, Jaycee Beach. Four regulation size diamonds each with a shale infield. The diamonds play host to the mosquito program of Yorkton Minor Baseball and the Yorkton Softball Association.
- Jubilee Park, Foster Street. The city’s main baseball park is home to the Yorkton Cardinals of the Western Major Baseball League, along with the Yorkton Junior Cardinals and Yorkton Minor Baseball’s pee wee, bantam and midget teams. The park has a number of amenities including a concession, sound booth and washroom facilities. Yorkton Minor Baseball has also constructed a batting cage. Jubilee Ball Park is home to four diamonds including two senior (one with grass infield), one bantam and one pee wee diamond.
- Lions Ball Park, Kinsmen Arena, Prystai Way. This competition level softball/fastball diamond has a shale infield and lights.
Tennis Courts
- WDM Tennis Courts, Kinsmen Century Field. Four competition level tennis courts are open for use at no cost to participants.
- Heritage Heights Park: Two competition level courts operate under a key co-op system where users must sign out a key and can keep that key for the season. Upon return of the key, the user will be reimbursed the $25 key deposit fee. The intention of this operation is to allow the tennis facility to operate solely as a tennis facility. We are asking that the users ensure the facilities’ security by being locked at all times and the holders of the key. Keys can be signed out.
- Knights of Columbus Park: Two courts are located at this tennis facility. The courts are lit until 10:00 pm. The facility is an open facility with the intended use to be tennis. The courts are not operated under a key system so after each use, ensure the facility is closed up.
Outdoor Rinks
There are lights at Knights of Columbus Park, Heritage Heights Park and Weinmaster Park that are on from dusk to 11:00 pm each evening.
